STRENGTH AND FUNCTIONALITY

Don't let the name frighten you! Ask yourself how many times a day we sit down in a chair, bend to pick up an item off the floor, or place an item in a cabinet overhead. These are simple functional movements that we take for granted each and every day. Improper form within any of these movements can quickly lead to chronic back pain, and joint pain such as hips, knees and shoulders. This class introduces these functional movements via weightlifting and power-lifting techniques such as, Bench, Overhead Press, Squat, Dead-lift, Power clean, etc. This class is for those who would like to increase their everyday functionality or the athlete that wants to increase strength and power to lift his game to the next level. Unleash you inner BEAST!

CARDIO KICKBOXING

This class teaches you the core fundamentals of kickboxing, but at a great High Intensity rate. This is a fat-burning, muscle-building workout that blends striking with interval training. You'll strike with jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts, and perform front kicks, side kicks, and roundhouse kicks. On top of that, you will supplement these movements with kettle-bells based exercises, calisthenics, and plyometric movements; allowing you to achieve ultimate fitness all in under an hr. Don't be surprised to see that you will burn between 600 and 800 calories in one 50 minute class. This class is for all age, gender, and current fitness levels! Need to get your kids away from the TV or tablet? Have a young athlete who's ready to take his game to the next level? This class is perfect for any skill level. A great way to build confidence and teamwork. Your entire body benefits by incorporating calisthenics, plyometric movements, resistance training, TRX suspension, speed, agility, balance, stability and flexibility. Each workout is 45 minutes and you will feel every minute. Ages 8 - 12 welcome! This class is taught by Coach Evan. Drop-in, package, or membership options available.
